Hang out in Mexico City

August moves at its own pace here. The rain shows up most afternoons, the light turns gold by six, and between school vacation and a packed cultural calendar, there is a lot on. We pulled together six things from this month worth building a day, or at least an afternoon, around.

There are bars that try hard to be different. And then there's Bar Latosa, a place that stumbled into being genuinely original without making a big deal out of it. We found it on a Wednesday evening on Tonalá 15, in Roma Norte, and honestly, we almost walked past it. It would've been a mistake.
